Help Coastline better understand the needs of older adults

Are you over the age of 60 and a resident of the Southcoast area? Or do you care for someone who is?

If so, consider taking a moment to complete a survey from Coastline, a private nonprofit which provides home care and other services to support the continued independent living of older adults.

Coastline is using the survey to assess the needs of older adults in the region. The organization also asks basic demographic information from those who complete it.

If you live in Acushnet, Dartmouth, Fairhaven, Mattapoisett, Marion, New Bedford or Rochester, you may already have received the questionnaire through a mailing Coastline completed earlier this month. The nonprofit said it mailed out 700 copies in November.

If not, the online version can be found here.

According to Coastline, data from the survey is confidential and will be used in putting together a guiding plan that Coastline can use in years ahead to meet existing needs. The data will also be used by the state to help determine funding for services in the Commonwealth.
