Don't miss this workshop opportunity on parenting "wired" children

Are you children participating in remote learning this school year?

If so, you might want to participate in an upcoming workshop on remote learning and internet safety designed for both parents and caregivers.

The virtual presentation is being co-hosted by YOU, Inc. Worcester Family Resource Center and the Worcester County DA’s office and will look at how to parent children in our current electronic age, and more specifically during the COVID-19 pandemic when electronic use and remote learning are often unavoidable.

The goals of the virtual workshop include learning safety tips around remote learning for your family; increasing your ability to spot the warning signs of cyberbullying; understanding how you can promote better online safety for your family; and identifying who to turn to when you have concerns that cyberbullying is taking place.

It will be held from 10-11 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 29.

To participate, you must RSVP to Eileen Kneeland at eileen.kneeland@state.ma.us. Once you do, you’ll receive a Zoom link for the presentation.
